Greece is located in the South East of Europe between the Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a peninsular and mountainous country.
Greece offers perfect conditions for Kitesurfing especially during the sunny and warm summer months.
Winds: The wind conditions in Greece are perfect for the practice of greece Kitesurfing. Greece is surrounded by two seas. The Aegean and the Ionian Sea s.
The best area to practice Kitesurfing is the Aegean Sea for the reason that all the islands of the Aegean are blew by a summer wind coming from the North, the "Meltemi".
The Meltemi is blowing all the islands from the months of May to September but it is especially strong and violent during the months of July and August.
The intensity varies from region to region. One of the windiest regions of the Aegean is the Cyclades. Two islands are really famous for their wind conditions: Naxos and Paros which attracts many kite surfers every year.
The Ionian Sea winds which blows during the summer months are called "Maistros" and are from the North West. They are less strong and frequent than the Meltemi but in some areas like Vassiliki and Agios Ioannis in Lefkada Island, a thermal wind also offers perfect conditions for Greece Kitesurfing.


Poros:
The Surf Club is located in the beatiful beach of Santa Maria, for those who are interested to add some adventure in tehir vacations by doing some sea sport s. Surf Club gives the possibility to those already familiar with the sea activities, to practice and enjoy their favourite SPORT , by providing them with the best equipment that will satisfy the most demanding needs.The SURF CLUB has experienced instructors who are willing to teach every visitor interesting to meet the excitement of sea sport s.
The very well known Surf Club of Santa Maria has the reputation of being one of the best places in Paros for these activities because of its location and its weather conditions that vary during the summer months. The water temperature is between 16oC to 25oC and the air speed between 2 and 8BF.
Besides the Surf equipment that you can rent in the Surf Club, you also have the possibility of doing: water ski , wakeboard , kneeboard , tubes, banana, sea parachute and to rent a kanoo. There is also special space for those who wish to store their own equipment.


Myconos:
The Surf Center is in the middle of Kalafati Bay, directly on the sandy beach and 10 meters from the sea . Under the roof, protected from the wind and the sun, you can watch the tricks of the windsurfers - with a cold drink and a snack, both available at the center. Later you can end the surfing day with friends.


Naxos:
Thalasea Sports is a windsurf and kitesurf focused school. We are affiliated with IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) and are training our students to IKO standards leading to IKO certification. Our instructors are certified and speak English, German, Spanish and French. Located at the Mikri Vigla beach we have the best beach in the area for kitesurfing and windsurfing, areas for training, dedicated launch areas. For the windsurf, we have the latest JP and Neil Pryde Sails equipment. For the kitesurf,the center is equipped with Takoon. Other facilities that we have is rescue boat, equipment cleaning, kite and windsurf repair service,a surfshop with necessary beachwear and spare parts and a beach bar.

The Milos Beach Kite & Windsurf Centre one of the most famous places in Europe, is situated in the northern part of the island of Lefkada (western Greece- Ionian Sea ) on the beach of Ag. Ioannis.
